Requirements

Candidates should possess at least one year of experience in film industry post production, video quality control, and/or content operations, demonstrating strong organizational and detail-oriented skills with the ability to investigate and troubleshoot technical issues. A solid understanding of video streaming and content delivery, including video codecs such as DNxHD/HR, ProRes, and bit rates, as well as audio file processing and image processing basics is required.

Responsibilities

The Content Operations Technician will run rigorous ingest QC, onboarding independent film and episodic titles, including video, related assets, and metadata. They will supervise and monitor the cloud-based asset processing and delivery to video streaming platforms, contribute to help resources by writing articles and creating tutorial videos, and evaluate current product work with the development team to improve user experience. Additionally, the role involves managing individual project priorities and deadlines, and supporting filmmakers by responding to user questions and concerns and solving issues before they escalate.
