Responsibilities

  • Handle telephone calls providing outstanding customer service
  • Use job knowledge and available information to answer customer questions or solve problems
  • Educate customers about Bank products and services, and upsell/cross-sell based on customer needs
  • Handle customer calls in a professional, courteous manner
  • Provide accurate information to customers and explain products/policies clearly
  • Handle some complex customer inquiries in areas of expertise
  • Make every effort to resolve issues during the call without transferring; follow up as committed
  • Educate and convert customers to self-service channels where possible and offer cost-effective alternatives
  • Follow departmental policies and procedures, especially regarding customer confidentiality
  • Accurately enter/confirm customer information into systems and complete request forms
  • Effectively use computer systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting
  • Suggest improvements to processes and policies for better productivity or customer satisfaction
  • Perform any other duties assigned
  • Continually learn and develop knowledge of Bank products and services
  • Be responsible and accountable for risk management, following policies, and driving positive customer experiences
