Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed Requests for Proposals (RFPs) outlining scope, expectations, timelines, and terms; review and evaluate proposals to select subcontractors
  • Collaborate with Project Management to manage subcontractor performance; facilitate change orders and amendments; process payments and collect documentation (e.g., lien waivers); handle correspondence and Notices related to subcontracts
  • Track subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards
  • Draft, review, and negotiate subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Identify potential changes in scope, schedule, or cost; review Change Orders through the approval process; ensure proper documentation; mitigate risks associated with changes
  • Monitor and manage subcontract costs to stay within budget
  • Ensure adherence to contract terms, safety regulations, quality standards, and region-specific regulations; maintain accurate records of subcontract documents, correspondence, and approvals
  • Identify, evaluate, and select qualified subcontractors; cultivate strong relationships with subcontractors and internal stakeholders
  • Continuously review market activities, develop relationships with new subcontractors, and manage subcontracting pipeline to retain and attract partners
