Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. They should have over 5 years of experience in construction project management, particularly in school conversions or similar projects. Strong negotiation skills and a proven ability to reduce build-out costs are essential. Familiarity with local permitting processes and regulations in Florida and/or Alabama is required, along with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management software and construction tools is also necessary.
The Construction Project Manager will conduct initial due diligence to assess project feasibility, requirements, timeline, and cost. They will leverage local relationships to streamline pre-construction and permitting processes. The manager will oversee all aspects of construction management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. They will monitor and manage construction schedules to accelerate timelines and meet launch goals, while also providing improved facilities support by managing CapEx and facilities projects for existing and new locations. Additionally, they will act as the primary point of contact for contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
