Candidates should have proven experience in the UK construction industry or in a similar quoting/admin role, proficiency with QuickBooks and Monday.com is a must, a strong understanding of how quotes work in construction (materials, labour, overhead, etc.), excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote environment.
The Construction Administrative Assistant will create and manage quotes for construction projects based on client requirements, coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and team members to gather accurate cost estimates, maintain records of quotes and track status updates using Monday.com, perform general administrative and secretarial duties (email management, scheduling, data entry, etc.), assist in generating financial documents and simple reporting via QuickBooks, and ensure documents are accurately formatted and meet professional standards.
