Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Electronics, or a relevant vocational training such as IT System Technician with several years of professional experience in this field. Proven experience in supporting networked solutions is required, along with knowledge of Wireless protocols and MSSQL databases. Understanding of the HL7 interface and related standards for exchanging electronic health information is also desired. Technical knowledge regarding wireless shielding in the medical environment is beneficial, as is expertise in DIN EN 60601-1-2 and other applicable legal requirements for the medical field. Excellent communication skills in both German and English (written and spoken) are necessary. High willingness to travel within Germany and, if needed, Austria and Switzerland is required.
The Connectivity Specialist will provide and implement Baxter Connected Solutions for all business units, offering technical expertise for connecting Baxter devices via the customer’s wireless network and troubleshooting network issues. They will support customers, service providers, and sales with systems and solutions requiring IT support from the service department. The role involves pre-sales support for IT solutions, leading digitalization projects and complex system implementations, and defining implementation requirements. Activities include software deployment/configuration, troubleshooting on-site and remotely, and taking responsibility for contributing to the achievement of goals in areas such as security, environment, and energy.
