Responsibilities

The Configuration Manager will develop configuration management architecture within COTS tools, perform requirements analysis with stakeholders, determine the design for the configuration management database, train system administrators, integrate the configuration management system with the Service management COTS suite, identify sources of configuration management data, collaborate with vendors, define and produce reports on configuration items, perform change management impact assessments, conduct quality analysis and control on CMDB data, define controls, perform audits, and participate in release management by auditing and updating configuration management data.
