Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a background in trust & safety, platform compliance, or security operations, preferably within a technology company. Experience with automated compliance monitoring and AI/ML platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Compliance Manager will oversee identity verification, KYC, and trade sanctions compliance, including document authentication and coordination with third-party partners. Responsibilities include managing Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, establishing worker eligibility criteria, and overseeing background checks. The role involves developing and implementing trust & safety policies to mitigate risk, fraud, and misinformation, managing platform community guidelines, and handling escalations related to worker misconduct and platform abuse. Additionally, the manager will monitor privacy and data deletion requests, ensure the accuracy of compliance documentation and audit trails, and act as a policy expert for trust & safety issues. The role also includes working with the IT team to implement IP address monitoring and location verification systems to ensure compliance with geographic working restrictions.
