Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of total experience, including at least 5 years in compensation management and analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Com/ BBA/B.E./B.Tech) in relevant fields such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • Master’s degree or diploma in HR, or professional certification (e.g., CCP) is preferred
  • Strong expertise in compensation design, job evaluation, benchmarking, pay structure management, and HRIS data analysis
  • Proficiency in analytical tools (e.g., Excel) and stakeholder communication
  • Familiarity with Workday and payroll systems

Responsibilities

  • Act as a lead compensation expert to advise divisional senior management on aligning pay programs, policies, and procedures with organizational goals
  • Implement creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs
  • Ensure the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and regulatory compliance, recommending timely revisions when needed, and keeping senior managers informed of updated policies
  • Oversee data within the HRIS to ensure accuracy of compensation information, including merit and incentive calculations, approvals for award payments, and payment records
  • Manage job evaluations, salary surveys, and analytical reporting to prepare recommendations and determine pay strategies and implementation based on findings
  • Own market competitive benchmarking for the defined business area and its application to compensation practices and strategies
  • Coach and contribute to the development of compensation analysts
  • Design and manage compensation programs including salary structures, short-term and long-term incentive plans, and other variable pay components to support organizational objectives
  • Conduct job analysis, evaluation, and classification to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness across roles and grades
  • Provide guidance and communication support to business leaders and HR partners on compensation plan features, pay policies, and implementation guidelines
  • Collaborate with external consultants and vendors, as needed, to obtain insights or support for compensation program design and benchmarking initiatives
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
