Responsibilities

The Commercial Underwriting Investigator will conduct in-depth case reviews to ensure safe trading on the eBay platform, utilizing filters, member reports, and account reviews to make informed decisions. They will identify and document trends, providing feedback to leadership and Risk/Trust teams, and offer input on filter performance to developer teams. This role involves handling escalations, responding to appeals, managing customer inquiries via email, and conducting outbound calls as part of case reviews. Additionally, the investigator will consult with customers and other business lines, present case decisions to leadership, and review documents to understand business models and their impact on eBay.
