Candidates should have experience in estimating or sales within the renewable energy sector, strong analytical skills and attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with estimating software and tools. A passion for renewable energy and a willingness to continue learning within the industry is also preferred.
The Commercial Solar Sales Estimator will analyze project specifications and requirements to create accurate solar system estimates using software such as Helioscope and Quickbooks, collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to gather information and tailor proposals that meet clients’ needs, prepare detailed cost estimates that include equipment, labor, and other project essentials, ensure all estimates are competitively priced while maintaining high-quality service standards, stay up to date with industry trends and pricing to offer the best solutions and advice to clients, assist in project management and follow up with clients to address any questions or concerns.
