Requirements

  • Direct responsibility for strategy, execution, and leadership of the Affiliate Wholesale LOB to achieve growth revenue, P&L objectives, operational & regulatory, client experience, and employee engagement goals
  • Experience directing, coaching, and leading execution of Wholesale Strategy, including Playbook execution, annual business planning, portfolio segmentation, business development, and client relationship strategies
  • Ability to establish sales goals for team members and ensure they meet/exceed goals while adhering to Bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Expertise in mentoring team members on complicated loan structures and developing less experienced team members
  • Skills in building partnerships, talent identification, and cultivating relationships in the market
  • Key member of affiliate executive leadership team, reporting directly to the Affiliate President (typically in large affiliates)
  • Accountability for risk management, openly exchanging ideas, elevating concerns, following policies/procedures, and driving positive customer experience within Bank's risk appetite
  • Strong partnership with Credit for credit requests, adherence to Portfolio Management guidelines and Policy

Responsibilities

  • Provide RMs and Team Leads with support, ongoing feedback, coaching, and direction in client/prospect business development through sales meetings, team meetings, and joint calling
  • Ensure sales effectiveness and performance management results via weekly/monthly reporting; utilize Onboarding Resource for new team members
  • Lead regional/portfolio business planning to grow lead client relationships and acquire new prospects for loan/fee production goals
  • Lead Prospect strategy utilizing referral sources, existing clients, and centers of influence
  • Maintain active community/industry involvement to broaden networks, leverage referrals, and deepen knowledge of trends/practices/competitive landscape
  • Manage customer relationships to maximize revenue, mitigate risk, and focus on client needs
  • Collaborate with One Bank/product partners (e.g., IA, Consumer/Retail, TMO, Bancorp-Vantiv, Paycor) to develop tailored relationship strategies for top clients/prospects
  • Lead Cross-sell strategy on 5/3 products/services to existing portfolio clients and their owners/senior management to become primary bank
  • Oversee execution of One Bank meetings, pre-call planning, Consultative Sales approach, and post-call follow-up; ensure CRM system utilization
  • Develop strong partnership with Credit to ensure team achieves credit standards/metrics for asset quality, credit administration, RAROC, and ongoing client monitoring
