Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in law, legal studies, or a related field, along with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm, is required. Responsibilities

The Commercial Counsel will provide strategic legal advice and support on a broad range of legal matters, with a primary focus on revenue-producing agreements and vendor agreements. Key duties include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts such as vendor, partnership, and customer agreements. The role involves acting as the point person between legal, growth, security, and finance teams to manage the contracting process, providing legal analysis and strategic advice on potential transactions, and staying informed about relevant legal and regulatory changes. General legal support to internal departments will also be provided as needed.
