Requirements

  • Hold a valid broker license for your province
  • CIP/CAIB/CRM is an asset
  • 1-5 years experience in insurance, commercial broking experience is an asset
  • Passion for customer experience
  • Persistence and agility to meet set targets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated flexibility in managing multiple clients at a time

Responsibilities

  • Support and effectively onboard new customers to your base of accounts
  • Carefully review all new submissions and policy data for accuracy and handle policy changes
  • Manage multiple clients and answer all customer queries regarding additional or existing insurance policies in a timely manner
  • Manage the existing book of business by issuing certificates, and processing endorsements for large and complex accounts
  • Maintain effective communication with clients to fully understand their insurance requirements and make recommendations accordingly
  • Review and advise customers on any gaps in coverage and recommend additional coverages to consider
  • Liaison with insurance partners to create the best possible insurance packages for each client
  • Work with colleagues to achieve shared goals
  • Provide meaningful client experience with each interaction
  • Upsell and cross-sell the current book of business
  • Process remarkets
  • Work remotely on a regular office hours schedule in your time zone
  • Other duties as assigned
