Commercial Account Executive

Position Overview

We are seeking a driven, high-reaching, and collaborative Commercial Account Executive to join our extraordinary team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving our business forward by implementing sales strategies and exceeding revenue targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining accurate forecasts, and collaborating with channel partners.

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a sales pipeline to advance strategic transactions through the sales process.
  • Contract Negotiation: Demonstrate proven experience in negotiating, proposing, and closing contracts with clients.
  • Revenue Generation: Generate revenue by successfully selling the Cohesity solution and collaborating with a network of Channel Partners.
  • Account Penetration: Consistently penetrate accounts, engage with decision-makers, and close business.
  • Sales Planning: Define and implement sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
  • Proposal Development: Develop and present proposals to customers, showcasing the Cohesity hyper-converged infrastructure solution's ability to meet their business objectives and establishing its value.
  • Team Coordination: Drive account strategies and coordinate team selling efforts with partners to achieve quarterly and annual closing objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience collaborating with customers and technology partners.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office (primarily Excel), and other CRM tools.
  • Comfortable working with multiple decision-makers to drive proposals.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter, comfortable working remotely and autonomously.
  • Ability to travel as needed for the role.
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales role proposing enterprise solutions at all levels of a customer organization.

In-Office Expectations

Employees within a reasonable commute (e.g., within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) are expected to work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
