Requirements

  • Experience overseeing 24x7 Command Center operations with visibility into infrastructure, applications, and business transactions
  • Knowledge of proactive event triage, correlation, escalation, SOPs, shift handovers, and operational reporting
  • Expertise in Incident and Problem Management frameworks, Major Incident processes, RCAs, MTTA, MTTR, and incident metrics
  • Proficiency in Change Management processes, including CAB/DCAB/TCAB/Cyber-security CAB, risk assessment, and synchronization with DR/release calendars
  • Understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM), CMDB synchronization, license compliance, asset lifecycle, and audits
  • Familiarity with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Operational Level Agreements (OLAs), performance metrics, and Service Review Meetings
  • Experience in Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises, coordination, and reporting
  • Skills in continuous improvement, automation, AIOps, monitoring optimization, KPIs, and maturity initiatives
  • Leadership and coaching abilities for mentoring staff, managing shift rosters, skill matrices, and stakeholder engagement

Responsibilities

  • Oversee 24x7 Enterprise Command Center operations, guide analysts on triage/escalation, intervene in critical situations, solve bottlenecks, and ensure handovers/reports/dashboards
  • Ensure adherence to Incident and Problem Management, oversee Major Incidents, guide incident managers, validate RCAs, and report metrics like MTTA/MTTR
  • Oversee Change Management, chair/support CAB meetings, monitor changes, and guide teams to minimize incidents
  • Supervise ITAM activities, ensure CMDB/monitoring sync, validate compliance/tagging, and report on asset utilization/lifecycle
  • Guide SLA/OLA adherence, validate/report performance metrics, track breaches, and support Service Review Meetings
  • Ensure Command Center readiness for DR/BCP, coordinate scheduling/reviews, oversee participation, and intervene during execution
  • Identify automation/AIOps opportunities, guide implementations, review KPIs, and drive maturity initiatives
  • Lead/mentor Command Center staff, oversee rosters/skill coverage, and promote knowledge sharing/operational culture
