Collections Specialist at Assurant

The position offers a base pay of $20 per hour plus uncapped commissions, with new employees earning an average of $60,000-$75,000 in their first year and $70,000-$100,000 in the second year, as income is performance-driven. A $500 new hire bonus is paid at the completion of the required in-person training.

This is a remote position after completing the required in-person training period in the Bothell, WA office, transitioning to 100% remote work. Employees must reside within a 100-mile straight-line radius of the Bothell, WA office throughout employment and have internet with minimum 15 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload speeds.

Successful candidates need resilience and persistence to handle challenging situations, strong negotiation abilities for payment arrangements, professionalism in dealing with hostile interactions, ability to meet collection targets with quality service and compliance, and managing emotional stress with empathy.
