Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability in category management, strategy, e-commerce, consulting, retail, or consumer tech
  • Strong expertise or personal passion for Collectibles - particularly Arts and Antiques. A very good knowledge of the Arts and Antiques industry and regulation is a prerequisite
  • First-hand experience buying or selling on eBay or competitor platforms
  • Shown success in running complex projects and driving business growth
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
  • Data-driven approach with strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Creative problem-solver and self-starter, comfortable working independently and cross-functionally
  • Proficient in both French and English (oral and written)

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy development, execution, and continuous optimization for the Collectibles category, with a focus on Arts and Antiques
  • Assess the French competitive landscape, market trends, and eBay’s internal data to identify supply and demand challenges, uncover opportunities, and define actionable plans
  • Collaborate with global and local teams on seller acquisition and account management, inventory expansion, tailored marketing initiatives, as well as trust-building measures to deliver a seamless buyer/seller experience
  • Develop strategic relationships with industry players to improve services and offerings for Collectibles buyers and sellers
  • Strengthen eBay’s presence within the collector community and across social and digital channels
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key category metrics to measure success, inform decisions, and guide future initiatives
