High School diploma or GED equivalent
Proficiency in operating multi-axis Mill-Turn machines (Multus experience preferred)
Strong understanding of CNC programming
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and GD&T
Experience with precision measuring tools and ability to hold tight tolerances
Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM
Mechanical aptitude
Basic math skills
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

Program, set up and operate Okuma Multus (7-axis mill/turn), including installing and adjusting tools, offsets and fixtures
Edit programs
Develop lightly attended automated machining process
Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function
Prepare and load raw materials and parts
Prepare test runs
Set machines to complete full cycles
Perform daily maintenance, such as checking fluid levels, cleaning chips, and replacing worn or damaged tools
Identify and resolve operating difficulties, report malfunctions, provide feedback to improve processes
Maintain accurate records, including production logs, job sheets and maintenance reports
Maintain a clean and organized work area
