Requirements

Ability to establish, build, and maintain detailed project plans with actual and forecasted activities and timelines
Ability to proactively manage deviations, identify and manage project risks and issues
Ability to ensure the project team is properly defined and staffed, including oversight of external partners
Ability to act as liaison among project stakeholders across the organization and ensure timely communications
Knowledge of BJ’s Project Lifecycle Methodology, change management practices, policies, and regulatory requirements
Balancing and managing scope, time, and resources for a multi-disciplined project team
Ability to work with a large number of teams to track all activities needed
Ability to analyze results, troubleshoot problem areas, and make recommendations
Ability to provide impact analysis and alternatives to senior leadership
Ability to participate in and co-facilitate meetings with business partners
Ability to prepare and deliver effective, timely, and meaningful communications (written and verbal)
Ability to set and manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders
Knowledge of emerging project and portfolio management trends and best practices

Responsibilities

Coordinate IT project plans for new clubs, remodels, and rollouts, ensuring alignment with construction and operational schedules
Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple workstreams (networking, POS, fuel systems, cabling, etc.)
Support site readiness checks, installation validations, and cutover activities to ensure operational launch success
Devise contingency and mitigation plans
Manage and actively drive resolution of issues (escalate issues early, drive open issues to resolution and deliver on-time)
Manage and actively drive resolution of complex project issues
Act as the liaison between IT and business stakeholders with respect to IT activities for new club and fuel station openings
Ensure IT project plans are updated to reflect required changes as a result of new business initiatives
Identify opportunities to change/improve program delivery processes
Manage day-to-day project activities for technology aspects of new clubs, new fuel stations, and enhancement/remodeling efforts
