Requirements

Candidates should possess formal qualifications in cloud infrastructure or a related field, with preferred certifications in Azure and AWS, and demonstrable experience working in an MSP to deliver outstanding service outcomes. Strong knowledge of IT security frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI, and CIS is required, along with experience working with general support ticketing systems and understanding of internet backbone technologies. Knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration and troubleshooting skills, as well as Powershell, Bash, and Python scripting languages, are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Cloud Ops Engineer will manage and monitor service desk tickets per contracts and SLAs, taking action on assigned tasks within client SLAs and performing daily support including monitoring, troubleshooting, and ad hoc issue resolution per service standards. They will proactively monitor key client cloud environments using internal tools for performance, reliability, and security, and develop and implement future-proofing services. Additionally, the role involves assisting Senior Engineers/Architects on projects, supporting Services Manager in identifying/mitigating cloud security risks, implementing and maintaining strong security in client cloud infrastructure, developing and sharing knowledge/documentation, and providing client updates to Account Managers.
