Candidates should possess at least 5 years of relevant software development experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems, along with experience in Go, C/C++, or Java. They must have experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, and experience developing cloud infrastructure services, preferably with Kubernetes and cloud native edge or service mesh services like envoy and Istio.
The Cloud Infrastructure Software Engineer will be responsible for architecting and building a robust, scalable, and highly available distributed infrastructure, building a cutting-edge cloud-native platform, working closely with the ClickHouse core database development and security teams, and partnering to produce the SAS offering. They will also focus on routing and traffic components to improve reliability and scalability, systematically improving availability through best practices, designing and building security components and tooling, and improving performance and cost efficiency of the infrastructure.
