Candidates should possess 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field, with proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. A strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security principles is required, along with 2+ years of experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Familiarity with containerization technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities are also necessary. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
The Cloud Engineer will design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure, and collaborate with development teams to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines. They will leverage automation tools for resource management, implement security best practices, and monitor/optimize cloud performance, cost, and utilization. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting cloud-related issues, developing documentation, staying current with cloud technologies, and participating in disaster recovery planning.
