Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, and hold, or be able to attain, DoD 8570 IAT II and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications (CompTIA CySA+ preferred or equivalent certifications that cover both requirements acceptable such as both Security+ and Cloud+), within 30 days of contract start. Additionally, candidates should hold a Compute Environment-specific certification such as AWS, Azure, RedHat, or Windows, and be eligible for a TS/SCI clearance with a willingness to obtain a polygraph.
The Cloud Engineer will design and implement scalable, secure, and automated AWS-based cloud infrastructure, develop and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions, analyze existing cloud infrastructure for optimization and automation, implement security best practices, design and build lab environments, research and evaluate emerging cloud technologies, collaborate with various teams to integrate infrastructure, support system documentation, and report on mission and compliance requirements.
