Requirements

  • Natural science degree (biomedical, engineering, etc.) or degree/trained in Optometry
  • Fluent in English (spoken/written)
  • Proven experience in customer service, field service, clinical support and training in the medical devices industry
  • Strong communication skills, along with a solid work ethic and organizational abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with software and hardware development teams to define new product requirements and specifications
  • Manage and execute product evaluations with surgeons and clinic staff
  • Document development results, including design specifications
  • Support new product introductions with surgeons, analyze feedback, and share findings with the project team
  • Create customer-facing documentation
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for Alcon personnel
  • Provide fourth-level support for application-specific support requests from the field
  • Conduct clinical complaint investigations and prepare reports
