Field-based position supporting Abbott’s Vascular division in West Texas (and Region as needed)
Expertise as technical procedure and product expert, with heavy focus on Vessel Closure portfolio (small and large bore arterial, venous, and future products)
Ability to serve Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and hospital staff
Skills in case planning, case support coverage, and product pull-through
Capability to promote Vascular products through education, service, and training in hospital settings
Experience providing clinical education and sales support to achieve sales goals, increase revenues, and market share

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical procedure and product expert in support of case coverage in the hospital setting
Focus on Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and hospital staff to support the complete Vessel Closure portfolio
Meet with existing and potential customers (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) to identify clinical needs, goals, constraints, and demonstrate how Vascular products help achieve them
Develop relationships with hospital personnel, make new contacts in hospital departments, and identify key decision makers
Serve as primary resource for clinical support in case coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education for company products
Educate customers on merits and proper clinical usage of company products via presentations and demonstrations using various formats (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals) on latest products, therapies, technologies, and industry developments
Attend clinical procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, and Operating Room to ensure customer and patient success with Vascular products
Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative solutions or collaborating with related personnel (e.g., sales)
