  • Field-based position supporting Abbott’s Vascular division in South Los Angeles, CA
  • Expertise in vessel closure portfolio, including small and large bore arterial, venous, and future product releases
  • Focus on Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and hospital staff
  • Ability to serve as technical procedure and product expert in hospital settings (e.g., Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, Operating Room)
  • Skills in case planning, case support coverage, product pull-through, troubleshooting, and in-service education
  • Capability to attend clinical procedures and respond to customer needs/complaints with creative solutions

Responsibilities

  • Provide case planning, case support coverage, and product pull-through throughout the designated territory and Region as needed
  • Promote Vascular products through education, service, and training of customers in the hospital setting
  • Assist in achieving projected sales goals, increasing sales revenues, and market share with a heavy focus on Vessel Closure
  • Meet with existing and potential customers (e.g., physicians, hospital staff) to identify needs, discuss, and demonstrate products
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel, make new contacts, and identify key decision makers
  • Serve as primary resource for clinical support, troubleshooting, and in-service education
  • Educate customers on product merits and usage via presentations and demonstrations (e.g., slides, manuals)
  • Attend clinical procedures to ensure customer and patient success
  • Respond to customer needs/complaints by developing solutions or collaborating with sales, clinical research, marketing, and product development teams
  • Support the broader Region as needed with case coverage
