Candidates must possess an active, unrestricted clinical license such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, or PhD. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in clinical work, quality assurance, auditing, or compliance within a behavioral health environment or at the payor level is required. Familiarity with supporting clinical teams, understanding documentation standards, risk awareness, and service expectations is essential. Exceptional written communication skills for creating clinical guidance and educational materials are also necessary, along with familiarity with digital behavioral health platforms, EHRs, or telehealth-based care models.
The Clinical Quality Specialist will serve as the clinical point of contact for providers, conducting outreach to support best practices and documentation competency. This role involves reviewing and responding to low-level client complaints and supporting payor quality reviews. Additionally, the specialist will help foster a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and open communication among providers, ultimately driving excellence in client care and contributing to improved mental health outcomes.
