Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data preparation, is essential, as is experience interpreting legal and financial documents related to pricing and billing. An advanced level of English is required for explaining complex billing issues to diverse audiences. Familiarity with systems such as Salesforce for case management and Oracle E-Business Suite as an ERP is beneficial. An ideal candidate would have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and experience in shared services, BPO, or a billing center of excellence.
The Senior Billing Analyst will interpret client contracts to define billing terms, pricing structures, and service commitments. They will validate service orders and billing configurations to ensure alignment with contractual agreements, and prepare monthly billing files with accurate data inputs. Responsibilities also include managing billing inquiries and escalations through case management systems, reviewing invoices for accuracy of billable items and coding, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support process improvements for enhanced billing accuracy and compliance.
