College diploma or equivalent (management or healthcare education preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare accounts (preferably Revenue Cycle Management)
Customer service or supervisory experience
Proficiency with technology, computers, software applications, and phone systems
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong understanding of company products, policies, and services
Ability to coach, train, and motivate employees and evaluate their performance
Excellent problem solving, leadership, and customer service skills

Responsibilities

Manage a team of Claim Inspectors and Billing Representatives to ensure timely and accurate review of claim requirements and efficient billing management for revenue collection
Manage volume, achieve set goals, and oversee team performance and development
Hire, co-train, and prepare representatives to handle claim and billing review using tools and insurance plan guidelines
Prepare reports, analyze data, assign daily tasks, rotate tasks, monitor aged tasks, and complete rush requests to assist management with campaign goals
Identify operational issues, escalate critical items, determine trends, and suggest process/system improvements
Monitor and evaluate agent performance, provide coaching or learning opportunities, and take corrective action
Adapt to tools, systems, and frequent changes in the work environment
Promote company culture, ensure compliance with program objectives, performance standards, policies, regulations, HIPAA, and ethical guidelines for confidentiality
Work with other supervisors and management to support agents and ensure client satisfaction
Perform other supervisor duties as assigned
