Requirements

  • High School Diploma completed
  • 2+ years of relevant life insurance death claims business experience
  • Claims processing experience
  • Working knowledge of life insurance products and applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Microsoft Office and MS Teams work experience
  • Great typing and documenting skills
  • Empathy, sensibility and high sense of touch
  • Inbound/outbound customer service experience and communication skills
  • Great ability to multitask between client applications and DXC systems
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Follow procedures to process death claim transactions by corresponding with agents, beneficiaries, and other departments regarding policies
  • Willingness to learn new payment processes and/or other processes within death claims depending on where the need is on any given day
  • Ensure accurate handling and timely execution of any policy worked
  • Ensure transactions are processed on administrative systems accurately and in a timeframe considered suitable by MetLife guidelines
  • Report any potential fraudulent, money laundering, or unethical requests that have been reviewed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required daily
  • Provide an elite customer service experience via letters or phone calls made internally or externally
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience
