Native-level proficiency in Chinese (Hong Kong)
Experience in linguistic testing, QA, reviewing, verifying, editing, scoring, translating, and reporting on copy across media and content types
Ability to perform full Quality Assurance on different platforms and testing environments, including Production
Skills in bug reporting, problem-solving, providing clear suggestions/feedback, and effective communication
Experience coordinating and managing linguistic teams, including profile matching, work assignment, onboarding, training, coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluation
Ability to act as a liaison for terminology, style issues, product features, and queries
Knowledge of quality management, including KPI tracking, root cause analysis (RCA), LQA planning/tracking, and arbitration processes
Client engagement skills, including attending meetings, documenting discussions, ensuring feedback implementation, and leading on linguistic issues
Ability to manage linguistic assets (e.g., creating and maintaining)

Responsibilities

Reviewing, verifying, editing, scoring, translating, and reporting on copy across media and content types (75% of time)
Performing full QA on platforms and testing environments, reporting/filing bugs, problem-solving, and providing feedback
Coordinating the linguistic team: reviewing copy/LOC, giving/communicating feedback, supporting linguists on corrections/arbitration, acting as liaison for issues, responding to queries, assigning work, guiding root cause identification, onboarding new linguists, reviewing candidate tests, identifying training needs, creating/delivering training, coaching/mentoring, addressing underperformance, communicating preferences, and flagging issues (10% of time)
Quality management: working with Quality Department on linguistic quality monitoring/planning, defining quality expectations, supporting RCAs/corrective actions, tracking KPIs/status reporting, planning/performing LQAs, and driving arbitration (10% of time)
Client engagement: attending meetings to discuss quality/strategy, documenting/following up, acting as liaison, ensuring feedback implementation, and performing direct reviews (5% of time)
Managing linguistic assets: creating and maintaining
Centralizing communication between testers and Apple Language QA Leads/Client, assisting Project Managers in coverage management, and serving as Client’s POC for linguistic matters
Ensuring overall quality of the language at an account level
