Requirements

  • BS in an engineering discipline and 12+ years working in an engineering role
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience working with electric vehicle battery charging systems
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, UL, ISO, IEC and industry standards related to automotive and eVTOL charging products
  • Experience with charging protocol
  • Experience with requirement management, safety analysis
  • Experience with hardware/software integration and validation
  • Experience with cooling system development and integration

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the full product life cycle with focus on performance, certifications, reliability and maintainability
  • Lead the product development phase, including the definition and introduction of new products. Feasibility studies, benchmark, partnership as a basis for technology projects, certification and future platforms
  • Drive architecture development
  • Develop technical strategy for standards including software, electrical hardware, communication protocols, cooling solutions, mechanical solutions
  • Drive the definition process, requirements and specification for the next generation of products
  • Guide the team’s work by identifying key goals and deliverables with execution
  • Collaborate with other ESPS teams and aircraft teams to ensure a successful charger integration
  • Lead safety analysis efforts focused on the charging
  • Coordinate and interface with partners, suppliers
