Requirements

  • Proven owner of a marketing channel from strategy to execution, including building playbooks, running experiments, and operationalizing winners into repeatable sequences
  • Experience with direct-mail + cross-channel optimization, including running DM A/B tests, authoring rollout checklists, and translating creative learnings into sequencing that scales
  • Strong experimentation discipline & taxonomy ownership, including designing A/B methodology, maintaining the creative taxonomy, and ensuring test results feed a living “best-of” library
  • Cross-functional influencer with data-first instincts, comfortable partnering with Ops, AAA, CS/Implementation, and Product teams

Responsibilities

  • Own and scale Virta’s direct mail channel; serve as an expert internally and externally on direct mail
  • Deliver data-driven performance management, including forecasting, A/B testing, and real-time reporting to stakeholders
  • Advance direct mail automation and efficiency by optimizing vendor relationships, streamlining approval workflows, building libraries of pre-approved creatives, reducing manual processes, and preparing performance insights to share directly with clients
  • Develop a high-performing content strategy, expanding Virta’s direct mail creative library with assets that consistently resonate with members and outperform industry benchmarks
  • Keep on top of industry trends including personalization and timing strategies to bring the latest direct mail insights to improve channel performance quarter over quarter
  • Within first 90 days: Understand and analyze mail data (creatives, UTM metrics, content taxonomy); build cross-functional relationships with marketing, engineering, product, content, and design; take on direct mail analytics and execution of A/B tests; review existing direct mail canvases to identify scaling and personalization opportunities; contribute to optimization with AI-informed insights, segmentation strategies, and task automation
