Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid CDL A driver's license, demonstrate at least 5 years of experience operating a tractor-trailer, and maintain a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices is essential, as is the ability to operate and maintain assigned equipment.

Responsibilities

The CDL A Delivery Driver will safely and efficiently transport product from the warehouse to customer locations, unloading and delivering product according to customer invoices and company standards, while also handling damaged goods and customer returns. They will be responsible for completing all required paperwork, including logs and inspection reports, ensuring food safety protocols are followed, and maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle and warehouse. Additionally, the driver will communicate effectively with management regarding any issues and perform backhaul and linehaul deliveries as needed, while developing positive customer relationships.
