Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in biology, life science, or a related field, with a Master’s degree or equivalent experience being a plus. They must have at least 5 years of sales experience in the IVD and/or medical devices industries, along with some experience in channel management, full-cycle account management expertise being a plus. Strong knowledge of the IVD market, healthcare systems, national guidelines, reimbursement, and relevant legislation within the territory is required, as well as consistent track records of achieving sales targets and driving growth through channel partners. Proficiency in English and at least one local language (Spanish or Italian), with knowledge of other languages within the territory being a plus, is necessary, alongside a valid driving license and familiarity with CRM software and sales performance metrics.

Responsibilities

The CDD Channel Manager will develop and implement channel strategies to improve distributor performance and expand market reach, build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and channel partners, coordinate distributors’ activities in sales, marketing, customer services, scientific affairs, and technical support, drive sales through channel partners by setting targets and providing support, conduct training sessions for channel partners, analyze market trends and provide insights, produce a detailed business plan aligned with strategic targets, review and handle distributor performance, provide regular reports on channel performance, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive channel strategies. They will also increase CDD’s visibility and recognition by attending events and implementing direct marketing initiatives, and coordinate distributor onboarding and refresher training.
