Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related area
  • Minimum of three to five years combined experience in merchandising, data analytics, project management, or related area
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and attention to detail skills
  • Strong mathematical aptitude, financial acumen, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Nielsen Category Management tools
  • SQL competency recommended (experience with Snowflake)

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively to achieve buy-in from cross-functional leaders
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings in support of strategic initiatives
  • Support annual vendor negotiation process including joint business planning, strategic planning with merchandising teams, and coordination with vendors to improve sales and profitability
  • Support data and analytics fact base in partnership with merchandising analytics function and drive into core ways of working for merchandising and associated support teams
  • Perform business or statistical analysis to formulate data-driven recommendations that help the company achieve financial goals
  • Navigate ambiguity in dynamic retail and wholesale environments to drive positive business outcomes
  • May be assigned additional responsibilities as needed
