Requirements

  • 3+ years in food/beverage CPG sales and/or category management
  • Strong grasp of industry data from syndicated partners like SPINS, Circana, and/or Numerator, as well as direct customers and distributors (e.g., Whole Foods, Walmart, Target, UNFI, KeHE)
  • Proficiency in Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables

  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills to synthesize data, solve problems, and explain insights

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize scan and consumer data to craft compelling, fact-based selling materials; present insights and recommendations to retailers and cross-functional teams
  • Maintain existing internal and external analytics resources, including performance reports and customer-facing decks, on a consistent cadence; adjust insights or stories with new data to capture trends and selling points
  • Facilitate monthly state of the business category analysis, summarizing trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Partner with Sales account leads on customer-specific selling opportunities and critical information to support Siete and retailer objectives, providing on-time deliverables
  • Support ad hoc analytical requests for business questions from stakeholders in Marketing, Finance, and Operations, collaborating with external partners and/or consultants as needed
  • Represent data or reporting gaps and brainstorm ways to resolve them with manager
