Requirements
- Available for weekend, evening shifts, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to count, read, and write accurately
- Must attend mandatory meetings (i.e., T.A.M., sexual harassment)
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion
- Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist
- Ability to freely access all areas of the store
Responsibilities
- Running a cash register, including accountability for cash, lottery tickets, and cash cards
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Completing shift reports
- Cleaning (windows, floors, bathrooms, emptying trash containers)
- Stocking shelves and coolers
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Gasoline tank inventory (stick readings)
- Checking product in as it is delivered from vendors
- Yard maintenance (sweeping, shoveling, painting, checking gas wells)
- Light equipment maintenance (pumps, lighting, machinery)
- Assisting with merchandising tasks as needed
- Performing other tasks assigned by management
- Communicating effectively with associates and guests
- Counting, reading, and writing accurately to complete required paperwork
