Requirements

Clear understanding of all BJ’s Membership options, including the importance of renewals and upgrading to BJ’s Loyalty programs
Ability to process member purchases courteously and friendly, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products
Ability to scan merchandise through a point-of-sale system for accurate inventory counts and purchase totals
Ability to provide excellent member service efficiently and productively
Ability to maintain overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Commitment to club policies, procedures, compliance, honesty, integrity, safety, inclusion, diversity, teamwork, speed, agility, innovation, and maintaining a friendly positive attitude
Daily commitment to GOLD Member Standards: Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA)
Knowledge of club standards: Grand opening look daily, all items stocked, promotional plans executed, visible accurate signage, clean and organized
Ability to understand and access production and/or financial performance reporting for the department

Responsibilities

Process member purchases, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products, scanning merchandise, and accepting various forms of payment
Offer appropriate membership products such as renewal, EASY renewal option, BJ’s Loyalty programs, and Rewards redemption
Provide high level of customer service and check members out in a timely and efficient manner
Fill shopping carts when necessary and assist members
Maintain overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Carry out job functions as assigned and support application of club policies, procedures, and compliance
Act with honesty and integrity, lead with the member in mind, address and escalate concerns
Ensure safe and positive environment for members and team
Embrace inclusion and diversity, work collaboratively as a team to achieve goals
Deliver service excellence, resolve and deescalate member concerns
Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily with commitment and pride
