Clear understanding of all BJ’s Membership options, including the importance of renewals and upgrading to BJ’s Loyalty programs
Ability to process member purchases courteously and friendly, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products
Ability to scan merchandise through a point-of-sale system for accurate inventory counts and purchase totals
Ability to provide excellent member service efficiently and productively
Ability to maintain overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Commitment to GOLD Member Standards: Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA)
Ability to work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, including grand opening look, stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining signage, and keeping areas clean and organized
Ability to understand and access production and/or financial performance reporting for the department

Responsibilities
Process member purchases, including verifying, renewing, upgrading, and offering membership products, scanning merchandise, and accepting various forms of payment
Provide high level of customer service, checking members out in a timely and efficient manner
Fill shopping carts when necessary and assist members
Offer appropriate membership products such as renewals, EASY renewal option, BJ’s Loyalty programs, and Rewards redemption
Maintain the overall cleanliness of the front-line department
Carry out job functions as assigned and support club policies, procedures, and compliance
Act with honesty and integrity, lead with the member in mind, address concerns, and escalate as appropriate
Ensure a safe and positive environment for members and team members
