Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the capital projects portfolio, including new construction, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure improvements
  • Prepare project proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and resource requirements
  • Ensure alignment of capital projects with the site’s strategic objectives
  • Monitor expenditures and financial performance against budget
  • Oversee project teams, including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure all project KPIs are met and projects meet safety and quality standards
  • Select, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors. Ensure all third-party work meets the quality and safety standards
  • Oversee the execution of the PTW system
  • Manage effective communication with all project stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners
  • Develop and deliver capability building programs for project engineers and managers
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure project execution KPIs and adequate investment plans are in place for the site
