Requirements

  • Age - 16 or older
  • Wear steel toe footwear and proper reflective vest during cart collection for visibility

Responsibilities

  • Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter and return them to a safe storage location using Walmart approved procedure, ensuring necessary logs are completed
  • Respond promptly to requests at all registers and safely assist customers with carry outs or carry ins, verifying receipts for proof of purchase
  • Follow established guidelines for occasional cleaning and maintenance of restrooms, handling chemicals, following correct disposal procedures, and using power equipment including completing inspection reports before use
  • Adhere to safety and emergency procedures, ensuring guidelines are followed for hazardous communications, lockout/tagout, and blood borne pathogens
  • Maintain Cart Retrieval Log at Customer Service Desk
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to company policy and procedures
  • Promote safety by use of personal protective equipment
  • Complete safety sweeps as required
