Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the long-range strategy and planning framework for Online Grocery and Store Fulfilled, informed by industry insights and cross-functional inputs
  • Scope and prioritize initiatives to meet strategic and financial goals, ensuring the roadmap delivers increasing value over time
  • Lead the 5-year Long-Range Planning (LRP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes, collaborating with Real Estate, Merchandising, Technology, Operations, and Finance to quantify investments, savings, and benefits, and facilitate trade-off decisions
  • Align and report on Store Fulfilled OKRs, identifying risks and proposing offset strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other Walmart markets to influence targets and their trajectory
  • Partner with Customer Insights to measure market share and benchmark performance against industry standards
  • Own the store fulfilled forecast, including market-specific views, with input from Operations, Finance, and Omni Innovation
  • Collaborate with Implementation teams to validate anomalies, risks, and market conditions
  • Develop targeted strategies for specific store clusters (e.g., urban, regional, rural), identifying actionable opportunities and driving initiatives forward
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of the competitive landscape, sharing insights and strategic recommendations with the broader team
  • Monitor consumer trends, competitive positioning, and market dynamics to identify risks and opportunities
  • Facilitate regular strategic planning sessions and workshops with the leadership team
  • Maintain centralized tools and references to support team alignment and execution
  • Support executive-level presentations and communications related to strategy
