Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with 2-5 years of operations and hands-on technical experience. A strong understanding of the e-commerce business model, including fulfillment, shipping, customer service, user experience, and business processes, is necessary. Experience with platforms like Kount, Magento, Shopify, Skubana, or Salesforce is a plus. The role requires strong organizational, time management, communication, process orientation, and problem-solving skills, as well as some experience in analysis and documentation of functional requirements. Flexibility to work weekends is also required.
The Operations Associate will perform daily fraud-screening on orders, manage E-commerce, Fraud, Payment Gateway, and 3PL Systems, and handle all fulfillment and shipping issues, working closely with 3PL vendors. They will assist and troubleshoot system issues for the customer experience team, triage new projects and issues internally before escalating, and ensure timely fulfillment and tracking of all orders. Responsibilities also include handling order errors and returns, liaising with the Card Processing Team, processing documentation for chargebacks, and learning tasks for B2B and Retail channels. For B2B operations, the associate will manage fulfillment/shipping issues with the fulfillment center, review and release verified orders, collaborate with the Business Services Executive Team on escalated shipping issues, and investigate potential order errors, returns, and chargebacks.
