Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by politely and courteously welcoming all customers, assisting customers by promoting products and services, identifying merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer-related issues, and escalating concerns if necessary
  • Delegate, assist, and follow up on the completion of customer availability process (PDC) tasks – work the section, PDC process for stock locations, selection stocking
  • Delegate, assist, and follow up on the completion of price changes and displays
  • Delegate, assist, and follow up on the completion of assigned area modules
  • Delegate and assist with tasks in required sales floor areas as needed; assist with merchandise recovery and zoning tasks
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and obstacle-free work environment by following company directives and procedures, including completing safety sweep logs and confirming that displays are secure and free of debris
  • Ensure associates take breaks according to the coverage schedule
  • Train, coach, and provide feedback to associates
  • Coordinate activities of associates to complete assigned handheld terminal activities
  • Ensure a zoned and stocked salesfloor and offer assistance to meet customer shopping needs by maintaining and recovering merchandise in a safe and clean environment
  • Function as a team lead to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and customer traffic patterns
