ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa, a global BPO company, is partnering with a USA-based client in the Healthcare sector. This client is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by autism. We are seeking a friendly and proactive Call Centre Client Intake Specialist to join their Intake Team, working during EST hours. This role combines receptionist duties with lead engagement responsibilities, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy connecting with people and fostering meaningful relationships.

Requirements

  • Customer Service Experience: Required, with a preference for experience in a call center or client-facing environment.
  • English Language Skills: Excellent spoken English is essential, including strong comprehension, fluency, and a pleasant phone demeanor.
  • Soft Skills: Patience, empathy, and active listening skills are crucial for this role.
  • Healthcare Experience: Prior experience within the US healthcare system is considered a strong plus.
  • ABA/Behavioral Health Familiarity: Familiarity with ABA therapy or behavioral health services is helpful but not a mandatory requirement.
  • Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in computer applications, including MS Outlook and general Office suite programs.
  • Personal Attributes: Candidates should be organized, self-motivated, and capable of adapting to evolving tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to follow up with potential clients.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries from potential clients.
  • Qualify incoming leads and direct them to the appropriate Intake Coordinators.
  • Perform receptionist duties, including answering general inquiries and providing a welcoming first point of contact.
  • Learn and eventually manage intake processes independently.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage communication using Outlook and basic Office tools.
  • Ensure all callers receive a positive, helpful, and professional first impression.

  • A mandatory requirement is a fixed fiber line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the capability to support a wired Ethernet connection.
