Conducting onboarding and training for new Technicians and Pharmacists on CVS workflow, ensuring timely completion of training/licensure
Ensuring full compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and escalating issues as needed
Partnering with Store Manager to maintain a talent pipeline of cross-trained colleagues and ensure their training completion
Overseeing Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists (where applicable), managing performance through observation, feedback, validation, annual reviews, and gap closure

Responsibilities

Overseeing the pharmacy team during bench shifts and strengthening performance measures through coaching and follow-up
Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by directing the team to follow workflows and safety guardrails
Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, coaching the team on compassionate care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and resolving insurance/medication issues
Proactively offering and delivering immunizations and supporting Technicians to immunize
Managing pharmacy inventory by following and coaching on best practices, focusing on cold chain protection
Conducting new Technician and Pharmacist onboarding for the store and district, including CVS workflow training
Ensuring pharmacy operations comply with state Board of Pharmacy regulations and escalating issues to Rx DL
Partnering with Store Manager for cross-trained colleague talent pipeline and training completion
Overseeing Staff Pharmacists and DPSs, managing performance via observation, feedback, validation, annual reviews, and closing gaps
