Requirements

Four-year college degree in a related field or equivalent experience
3+ years of purchasing or accounting experience
Working knowledge of purchasing concepts
2+ years of practical experience in the entertainment industry (preferred)
CPM, SPSM, or advanced education in Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (preferred)
Proficiency in Integrated Financial System and/or ERP Software (e.g., NetSuite, J.D. Edwards)
Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with procurement software and tools
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions
Ability to develop and utilize cost models and other analytical tools
Excellent facilitative and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

Manage multiple product lines and suppliers, identifying and executing opportunities to expand or leverage capabilities
Lead cross-functional teams in developing cost reduction activities and strategic initiatives
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to align with company goals
Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions for quality and delivery compliance
Generate purchase orders and expedite shipments for timely delivery
Develop and implement processes to streamline procurement activities and improve efficiency
Coordinate with logistics for smooth flow of goods from suppliers to end-users
Conduct cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
Implement cost-saving initiatives, including alternative sourcing and process improvements
Analyze market trends and pricing data for informed purchasing decisions
Negotiate with vendors to enhance profitability through cost-saving initiatives
Develop and implement negotiation strategies for optimal terms and conditions
Report cost savings quarterly and minimize financial exposure via best practices
Ensure compliance with company policies during negotiation and contracting
Collaborate with departments and suppliers to align and achieve common goals
Facilitate open communication and teamwork for successful outcomes
