Requirements

  • Maintains knowledge of an assigned set of clients in terms of their business and solutions/configuration
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all aspects of the client's business, including current and planned projects impacting systems, objectives, and expectations
  • Works independently as the highest level of business/technical expertise
  • Utilizes breadth of experience and competence for highly complex projects requiring in-depth knowledge of client's business (e.g., system upgrades, software migration, multi-country focus, multiple concurrent projects, high number of cards supported)

Responsibilities

  • Maintains established rapport and confidence with client(s) at management level (e.g., CEO/Bank President) and internal departments
  • Provides technical support to assigned clients and their Business Account/Relationship Managers, ensuring service per Service Level Agreement and serving as single point of governance and technical escalation
  • Identifies revenue generating opportunities, documents requirements, and proposes solutions that maximize Global Payments' revenue while providing support until closure
  • Provides expertise and counsel on evaluation of client's business requirements and effort estimation, advises on utilizing standard solutions while maximizing revenue, and persuades clients into billable projects
  • Counsels, consults, mentors, and transfers knowledge on converting client business requirements into detailed technical specifications, presents them internally/externally, secures sign-off, and consults on technical proposals
  • Ensures on highly complex projects that all facets and scope definitions are accurately captured, thoroughly considered, and comprehensively defined
  • Consults business in presenting Global Payments' solutions and services to generate revenue by meeting with technical management of clients and agreeing delivery scope
  • Reviews documentation from lower level Analysts, provides recommendations on maintenance of client's system environments by analyzing records of functionality, environment, and documentation
  • Consults project teams on client customizations, refers to relevant documentation, and suggests improvements to current functionality as part of system upgrades
  • Provides expert recommendations for release management between Service Desk, Compliance, Project, and client activities (e.g., PCI audits, internal projects), ensuring no negative impact on client operations; performs release management on key/highly complex clients
  • Provides cross-region consultation requiring expertise in a given subject
  • Executes and provides expert advice on the execution of all complexity levels
